I know it is afterChristmas but we are in serious need of at least 300 for rent, we have the rest and this will keep us from being evicted. Our court date is January 9th and we were trying to solve this on our own without having to ask for outside help. I have no family here or in a position to help. We would be grateful and would pay it back. As the time draws closer it gets harder to stay focused and not worry.
The sources typically available are low on funds or out at this time and those willing can not do anything until after the 9th.
Hi, Do not know if it is available in your area but there is a federal program called helping low income families with transportation and they can see if you qualify for their assistance at getting a vehicle you go the government site for grants. Sorry I do not have the exact site right now but you can google vehicles for low income families. Hope this helps. They also have assistance programs for utilities and sometimes the local utilitiy companies have programs to assist in this as well. There are also housing programs on the government site.
The best to you and your daughter.
Over theyears we have helped others down on their luck and needing a helping hand, so it is hard for us to say we need help. My husband and I ((we also have our unexpected miracle that is six months old) and we are going to be evicted if we do not come up with rent. two weeks before our baby was born my husband was laid off from work and he did find work within a month but then I went back to work to be laid off after two days due to downsizing, went on unemployment which was a little bit of help then obtained employment during which time both of our vehicles broke down. We had to have transportation which stretched our budget unexpectedly then other unexpected espenses came up. Then right before christmas I became unemployed again, but not eligible to go on unemployment again. I have looked everywhere but in the meantime we are sinking fast. If we are evicted we will still owe rent because we signed a new lease. We have been at our residence for two years and not until now have struggled. We are providing for our child all the essentials but need help paying the rent for December and January now. We are willing to pay back any monies to help us out, please someone help us, as I said it is hard to ask for help, but we need a miracle big time here. With Christmas time there are no funds available at the local resources and we are running out of options. Thank you for prayers and good thoughts>
